10-Minute Pause Space

Why Pause Space?

It is easy to focus on others when we think about compassion, and indeed some people may not be familiar with self-care/compassion at all. Yet if you are caring for others without caring for yourself, you are in danger of burning out.

“Listen with curiosity. Speak with honesty. Act with integrity.”

Roy T. Bennett, Author

“The word ‘listen’ contains the same letters as the word ‘silent’.”

Alfred Brendel (born 1931)
Austrian Pianist, Poet And Author

What’s involved?

Pause Space gives a pair or small group 10 minutes to stop, listen to each other in a supportive, encouraging and appreciative atmosphere, and explore what caring for yourself might mean to you. How might you be wise, kind and compassionate towards yourself in the future?
